I’m pretty fucking excited…
“Address is Approximate” is a short stop-motion film by director Tom Jenkins of The Theory film studio in the UK. The film depicts a desk toy’s utilization of Google Street View to take a road trip.
The idea is brilliant and the execution is top. My favorite element is how objects outside of the computer are blended with the computer monitor to create a full experience for the toy.
holy shit this IS brilliant
this is fucking AMAZING…
yes please : ) ..is it a torent?
Y’know, before you act so surprised when so many young people turn out to be prejudiced, stupid, and obese..
Maybe you should set an example for them by not booing gay war veterans, stop cutting education funds so they can actually get a valuable education, and not tell them that pizza is a goddamn veggie.
Just a thought.
“The greatest crimes in the world are not committed by people breaking the rules but by people following the rules. It’s people who follow orders that drop bombs and massacre villages.
As a precaution to ever committing major acts of evil it is our solemn duty never to do what we’re told, this is the only way we can be sure.”” —Banksy (via peace-love-megz)
Hoping to kick this feeling like shit business.. It’s too bad they don’t make a tea to combat lack of motivation.. maybe they do?? …Also, I’m kinda missing my black eye. I think it made me look like more of a bad ass, maybe I should pit it up more at shows..
Reports from ground indicate ticketing to anyone who pulls up to drop donations, arrests of people who do not stay moving on the sidewalk. The notice to remove personal belongings was given again this morning. We need people on site ASAP. Put out a call. Also, we still need donations, so maybe people can park and walk things to site. PUT OUT A CALL!
From an email:
I have intel from a source within the police department that OD is being cleaned out permanently. I believe him. I’m near the staging area right now and the wagons are moving in. I think we should start BEGGING for overnight occupation from every armchair activist tonight to see this through. This is a national police movement supposedly to push out all occupations.
OD is being taken down tonight.
The country’s awash in capital. Corporations have so much money they don’t know what to do with it - it’s coming out of their ears. There’s no scarcity in funds - these aren’t “lean and mean” times. That’s just a fraud.” —
Noam Chomsky in an interview with David Barsamian. From the book The Common Good.
One thing I would add to this: Not only would idle hands be delighted to do the work, but also the countless people performing useless operations that just keep the wheel of profit turning; all the while there are tons of things that need to be done, and are much more fulfilling to perform.
